Recent News Tidbits September 28, 2003 - Voxys announces completion of its new wearable sensor platform, half the size of its previous models. April 30, 2003 - Michael Sung, President and CTO of Voxys, gives a talk on the use of wearable technology in healthcare applications to leading doctors and healthcare researchers at the MIT Changing Places consortium's PlaceLab workshop on proactive health research. PlaceLab is a new residential research facility designed to study supportive technologies for the home. March 13, 2003 - The MIT (Mass. Institute of Technology) Sloan Business School renowned $50K competition -- one of the most well known and revered business plan competitions in the United States, has announced today that Voxys is one of the 35 top teams, to become semi-finalists. February 11, 2003 - The Columbia Business School National Social Venture Competition has announced that Voxys has advanced to the Semi-Final round of judging for Round II of the 2003 competition. January 25, 2003 - Voxys enters joint development and distribution deal with DocSurfer Document Management System to integrate DocSurfer's new Medical EFC Suite with Voxys' datastream and data log file synchronization API. The offering will be distributed under both brands, and support will be offered through DocSurfer's existing support engineering and call center infrastructure. January 6, 2003 - Voxys announces completion and succesful testing of its first line of wearable health monitor systems, including a wireless multi-sensor device, a base transceiver for use in desktop or laptop computers, and a lightweight software application for real time display of wireless sensory information and data logging.
