Medical Voice / MultiModal Systems
Voxys is building a software suite, in conjunction with Microsoft Speech SDK, that will make multimodal telemedicine systems a reality. Patients and healthcare workers now have the ability to retrieve and manage real time medical data over the phone or web, through either simple voice dialog or traditional pointer devices. Thyroid Condition Diagnosis and Long Term Management
Clinical and subclinical Thyroid conditions affect nearly 10% of the US population; it is estimated that perhaps a third of the people with these conditions do not even know they have it. As an extension of its wearable/mobile patient monitoring efforts, Voxys is developing an improved Thyroid condition diagnostic device and long term management system. Using immunoassay technologies combined with physiologic monitoring, Voxys is enhancing the accuracy of current thyroid testing, and making it less burdensome to the patient. Through its proprietary wireless docking system, Voxys also offers the prospect of remote telemedicine for patients already managing thyroid conditions, thereby eliminating the need for regular visits to the doctors office for checkups.
Clinical Trial Electronic Data Capture (EDC)
Voxys is enhancing the clinical trial patient diary and adverse effect data collection process through the development of a patent-pending wearable computing system that simulataneously logs both biometric data and correlated adverse effects as reported by the patient. Through our proprietary wireless docking technology, patient data is easily and quickly transferred to clinical trial sponsors or clinical research organizations through our simple API that works with most web-based EDC software packages available today.
Long Term Predictive Healthcare
Voxys is improving the lives of the elderly and other long term care patients through the development of small, ergonomic ambulatory vital health data monitors that warn patients and caregivers of impending adverse health conditions. These monitors correlate phsyiologic data with patient input and, through the use of artificial intelligence algorithms, match precursor indicators to potential known health problems with enough time to prevent them from happening. Voxys' wireless predictive care product line can be used in either a care facility to manage groups of patients or at home, by individual users.
